About me

My name is Jenetta, owner and baker of Jenetta’s Simple Treats, a locally owned and operated cottage bakery. I am also a proud military wife to my husband and mommy to our son. 

JST was founded in July of 2022 as a way of helping me heal and navigate my life after having my son and dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety.

Short notice requests are not for the faint of heart! Oh how I wish I could work this fast! That’s right! I don’t have some beautifully appealing area to take my pictures. The house that we’re currently in has minimal windows, so natural lighting is limited. The best place that I have found to take pictures is in the living room and based on the window size I need a short table. So I use my son’s art table to put my backdrop on to take all of my pictures! What a beautiful day this was for a vow renewal! I had the privilege and honor of making a cake and cupcakes for a vow renewal. Before I left, I went to grab my phone to snag a couple of pictures. When I turned around, I saw others lining up to snap pictures too. It’s fiesta time!!!!
